The awesome SleepPhones. Yes, they’re exactly like pyjamas for your ears – Christmas Gift Guide.
These. Are. Genius.
Utterly utterly genius.
All my children love to listen to audio books at bedtime – music too, for the teens. But if there’s one thing that’s a pain in the neck (well, ears anyway) it’s wearing headphones in bed, no?
Lying anyway by flat on your back is uncomfortable, and even then the positioning is tricky – and if you move, they slip and you’ve lost the lovely waves of sound wrapping round you.
But these amazing babies – a soft cosy fleece headband with built-in headphones – are utterly perfect for the job. Pyjamas for your ears, they say.
I happen to agree. Marvellous pj’s, at that.
Just plug them in to your iPod/phone/MP3 player of choice, select something soothing, and away you go.
They come in lavendar or black, and a variety of sizes – you can even spend out on the wireless version if you so choose. And the headphones remove if you happen to be a dribbler and need to wash the headband. ;)
SleepPhones start at £34.99 for the wired version (£69.99 for the wireless), and be yours if you pop straight over to Firebox and nab a set.
