Start-rite shoes – if there’s a brand you’d trust with the care of your child’s feet, it’s Start-rite, isn’t it? Believe it or not, they’re still a family business – now in the eighth generation, with 220 years of experience. No wonder we trust them! And d’you know why I personally LOVE start-rite shoes? Not only do they always do half-sizes and loads of width fittings, but their leather is always dyed right through – so even when they’re scuffed (no point in saying ‘if’, we all know it’s just a matter of time. Usually a few hours in my boys’ case…) a quick polish and they come up as good as new. Brilliant.

And children’s shoes are such a regular spend, aren’t they? The pesky small people will keep on growing.

So three pairs of shoes will be handy for any parent; you can either choose all three at once and fit the whole family out ready for going Back to School in September – or you could stagger your prize, and stretch it out to make pretty much a year’s worth of shoes by my reckoning.
