Animal Men’s Bepi Board Shorts
I know – boardies aren’t incredibly inspiring are they?
The trouble is, when you have a mid-teen you find all of a sudden they’re in the adult ranges. And men’s boardies are so rarely what a young teen wants to be wearing.
But thankfully, these babies from Animal fitted the bill perfectly for No.1 son in Italy – the need for them brought about by a scary growth spurt meaning his boardies were suddenly 3″ shorter than they should have been.
So when Extreme Pie offered to send us some sun gear for our trip, I knew exactly what it was we were in need of – and these were the first that caught his eye.
And they were properly great.
The fit was excellent, and most importantly for us they dried really fast – not for him was the icky pulling-on-of-still-damp-swimwear dance in the morning. The shoelace fastening kept them good and snug when he was diving, and the back pocket was handy for morning saunters to the shop for the day’s rolls.
Most important of all, the 20″ leg meant they sat exactly where his teen brain wanted them to sit on his 6′ frame.
Job done then!
