Oh oh oh oh OH.

Just LOOK who arrived in the post today.

It’s no secret that we LOVE the Maileg Mice (warning: that link may cause a lip to wobble). In fact, Christmas would not be Christmas without Father Christmas leaving a new mouse in a matchbox to join the family (currently a large Cuddle Mouse, plus the family of Daddy Mouse, Mummy Mouse, Christmas Mouse, Mimi and Nuffa).

The Maileg Mice are just… stunning. Small enough to be held in pre-schoolers hands, wonderful enough to be special to an 8yr old, magical enough to have secrets of all ages whispered in their ears.

And this year, Fairy Mouse with her pretty starry pinafore and lovely organza wings may just be my favourite yet.

Now ssshhhhh. I’m tucking her away somewhere secret to wait for December 24th. It’s a very VERY good job Father Christmas is friends with Armstrong Ward, isn’t it?
