Three Bags Full Merino Childrenswear Review…

Bear has been reviewing Three Bags Full Merino Childrenswear range.

If you haven’t tried merino wool yet for the children, its really time to start thinking about it. I have to say that this top from Three Bags Full has become an absolute staple of Bear’s wardrobe, and I’d be lost without it. Long sleeved and warm enough for the cool of the morning school run. Yet it doesn’t get too hot if you’re caught out by a very un-British burst of warm sunshine. Thin enough to wear under a dress, funky enough to wear on its own with jeans, girly enough to wear with a skirt. Gorgeous!

The wool itself is slightly thicker than other merino items I have (Bear has two pairs of pj’s), which makes it feel like it will endure the best that both she and the washing machine can throw at it.

The washing guide suggests that hand washing is best, but also recognises (thankfully) that busy mums aren’t likely to be very committed, and are likely to bung it in the wash with the rest of the gentles (when you’re being good). As I say, Bear has been wearing this top frequently – if I save it from the food debris it doesn’t need washing every wear as its pure wool, but toddlers being toddlers it gets washed a lot. I stopped being careful after a while, and just throw it in with the rest of the pinks on a 40°. And still it has kept its shape. I do draw the line at tumbling it – but there’s no real need as it dries so fast.

We love the range of colours, the funky simple designs, the fit is excellent… whats not to love about Three Bags Full? Even their website makes you feel like you’re breathing fresh air!

A 70's child, I’ve been married for a Very Long Time, and appear to have made four children, and collected one large and useless dog along the way. I work, I have four children, I have a dog… ergo, I do not do dusting or ironing. I began LittleStuff back in (gulp) 2004. I like huge mugs of tea. And Coffee. And Cake. And a steaming cone of crispy fresh fluffy chips, smothered in salt and vinegar. #healthyeater When I grow up I am going to be quietly graceful, organised and wear lipstick every day. In the meantime I *may* have a slight butterfly-brain issue.
