Father’s day. Giving the Obvious with a Boy’s Toy power saw.
Big Boys Toys. It’s a cliché – but the thing about cliché’s is that they’re clichés because they’re true. Not always, not every time… but often enough.
And actually, it’s true. One thing that makes The Man happy is a new tool to put in the shed (stop sniggering, I’m not being allegorical here…). It’s an obvious gift, maybe, but a whole heap better than socks or chocolates is something that Makes Noise and can Do Destructive Useful Things.
For my own man this year, this is the ultimate boy’s toy he’s been leaving casually open on his screen; the Bosch Lawn & Garden Keo . Apparently ‘created by the gardening gurus for all types of chores in the garden and round the house, from trimming branches to cutting through plastic’
Did you read that? I’ll repeat in case you missed the important bit – ‘…from trimming branches to cutting through plastic.’
Oh, heaven.
He can cut up all SORTS of stuff.
I can’t wait – it’ll be the Power Washer all over again. The garden had never been so clean as the afternoon after it arrived, wandering around, washer in hand, CLEANING things. Patio stones, conservatory roof, playhouse walls, scooters, house doors… nothing was safe. Instinctively even the dog knew this and hid.
So, give your Dad something a little different this year. Treat yourself to a quiet afternoon, and let him loose with a Bosch Lawn & Garden Keo saw.
*NB – You might want to hide anything you want to keep in one piece first though.
