I never need an excuse to browse gorgeous picnicware. But this week is National Picnic Week – a full on reason if ever I heard one! And why the Scotch egg not, eh? I mean we all love a picnic, especially when we’ve some gorgeous picnicware to enjoy it with.
And now we can all get outside again with the ones we love (even if we have to keep a little distance), a picnic seems a great idea of enjoying our wonderful countryside. If the countryside isn’t your thing, then head to your local park – or maybe the beach, just your own back garden, balcony, roof terrace…
It honestly doesn’t matter where you have a picnic, it’s the having one that that counts. Eating outside on gorgeous picnicware; doesn’t matter if it’s some hunks of cheese and a loaf of bread or a full on picnnic spread.
The sun is shining again and this week the temperatures will soar, so get outside! We so often complain we don’t get the summer weather we deserve, so when the sun does shine we all need to take full advantage and head into the great outdoors. The basic essentials? A blanket, a bottle of something cold and a bag, basket or box of something good to eat.
I’ll admit I’m in love with outdoor eating, and I LOVE a pretty picnic. I’ve bookmarked loads of things recently, there’s some GORGEOUS picnicware about – and yes, I’m sharing my finds with you.
Oh and one last thing; please do remember to take your rubbish home again to dispose of properly after enjoying yourselves. Don’t be that person.
