It’s that time of year again – the time of year when the aching in your toes reminds you that the hunt for the very best slippers must begin (and you start searching for that Just Sheepskin Code. Oh yes you do).
I’m not ashamed to say I’m a bit of a slipper freak. I don’t know if it’s a simple fact of getting older (and colder), or if I was just a late developer (in my youth I detested them; spent my time barefoot, only opting for socks if absolutely necessary)

But it soon became clear they were the right size. It was simply that a few days wear was required to flatten the sheepskin fluffiness to such an extent that my feet were a little roomy in there.
Oh, of all the heavenly problems I’ve had to suffer…
