I don’t know what it is, but I know I’m not alone in my love of the traditional leather satchel.
I mean – how could you not, really?
Practical, stylish, versatile… It’s everything you need. And so darn cute, too! And as we head into Autumn and the cooler months, I always seem to put away the cute little fabric bags and backpacks I’ve been using all summer, and reach for something sturdier and heavier – subconsciously preparing myself and my essentials to handle the rubbish weather that’s sure to be headed our way soon (even if it IS fooling us it’s still summer with all this delicious sunshine right now).

First off, it’s a great size. 14″ isn’t so big as to be cumbersome and in the way when you’re in a crowded place; but it’s big enough to hold most laptops and A4 pads. Inside the bag Yoshi have kept it classically simple; unlined, and with no pockets or additions. There’s a just space for you to fill, exactly as a traditional satchel should be.
Of course there’s the outside pocket, which is more than big enough for phones and keys etc; and deep enough for them not to be precarious in there.
