I am stupidly super-fussy about my daughter’s swimming costumes. I know I am.
Until such time as she grows big enough to make her own choices, I have very firm rules (which make no real sense, and I honestly make no judgements on other’s choices. This is all in my head, and I’m totally fine with that)
For me, bikinis are a no.
A v-shaped neckline which suggest cleavage? That’s out too.
The same rules as lunchboxes apply in terms of no annoying cartoon characters.
So my choices are quite narrow; and the need seem to crop up regularly as the girl grows so fast (she’s cursed with her mothers disproportionately long body), and no costume lasts more than a few months.
Thankfully there’s a few places I can guarantee finding something that pleases her need for Pretty, and my need to abide by the Swimming Costume Rules. And Boden is always my go-to first stop. They rarely let me down – and look at this costume I just found in their clearance section. Perfect!
Gorgeous colours, perfect styling – and as the £28 swimming costume is now reduced to just £9.20 why are you still here, and not over there whipping your card out? There are three different styles still available, and sizes are ranging from 5-10yrs; I’d go ahead and nab one if I were you, it’s not like it’ll go off if it’s stuck in a drawer for a year, is it?
The Boden Summer Swimsuit is available right here – be quick, it won’t hang around for long!
