I do understand that Long Tall Sally is not the shop to be going to for a lot of women. But if you do happen to be over 5’8″, I can’t tell you how much you need to be stopping by and taking a look.
As I’m nearly 6′ (hey, that half an inch makes all the difference, okay?) I’ve been a fan for rather a long time. So when I was asked to review an item from the new Spring/Summer range, I jumped at the chance.
And lookety look at this fabulous sweater that arrived. I love it.
I wear it a LOT.
It’s so easy to wear – and for the first time in a very long time I have a deliciously LONG sweater !
The colour’s gorgeous, and the style is great with jeans or with a long skirt and boots.
And it’s nowhere near as thick as it looks in the image – I was a bit concerned that I’d get limited wear as we head into the warmer months (*crosses fingers the sun will start to shine at some point*). But the thin cotton textile means I’ll be using this is a cover up all summer.
The only downside is that as I’ve worn it I have found the sleeves have become a little over long. But a double roll of the cuffs and I’m good to go (admittedly sometimes I just let them hang past my finger tips and feel 14 again…).
