What would we do with that? Well, I have to be honest and say that £500 doesn’t quite go as far as I might hope when there’s six of us. We certainly couldn’t manage a weekend in London ‘seeing the sights’ :)

However, what we could manage would be a brilliant day to our favourite family place; we’d get an early start and head off to the Brecon Beacons.

But no stress there – we’d make sure we had a chauffeur-driven MPV, so that we could all travel in relaxed style.

We’d spend the morning climbing Pen y Fan, then head back down to Brecon for well-deserved triple scoop ice creams from the unfailingly delicious Llanfaes Dairy. then it would be off for a picnic tea to enjoy beside our favourite river (and no, I’m not sharing our secret spot) for a spot of wild swimming, rock-sliding, stick-racing, dam building – and gentle snoozing…

Then  it would be dinner at The Star Inn before making our tired way back home to Dorset.

Now THAT would be some bloody awesome kind of day…

    I`d take the little ones into London and go to London Zoo, then on to see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. We`d have a picnic in Regents Park and Ice creams by the Palace watching the Changing of the Guards.
