The Little Cook’s Kitchen is a fantastic play kitchen for your young cooking fan. waking up to the tap on the bedroom door, asking if it ‘time yet?!’, then we creep down the stairs – (incase santa is still there), we open the door and i listen, every year the same… ‘wow!!!’ ‘ah he’s been!!’…little excited voices happy santa drunk his drink and rudolph has half munched his carrot, the flour ‘snow’ foot steps are spotted on the floor and then the wow because the tree has presents underneath it….. i love them sounds :D

after opening our prezzies extra early with my little one, we drive to Grandma and grandmas house, and my dad makes us a bacon & egg butty, this has been tradition in our house since i was a kid….. only now, i have my own child, and i need to leave my house to go back to mum and dads, i always look forward to it

My daughter’s first Christmas, she was 9 mths old and my husband dressed up as Santa. When she saw him she screamed and burst into tears, he took of the hat and beard and she stopped, he put them on again and she cried. A bit mean, but she just couldn’t comprehend that it was the same person!

The best thing on Christmas day is our adopted daughters face when she comes in and sees the presets under the tree.
She gets more and more excited with each present she unwraps and goes happily off to her room to play with her new toys afterwards – a quiet afternoon, priceless :)

My children are young enough to believe in father christmas, and last year the best bit was seeing the look on their faces when they spotted the christmas stocking in their bedrooms. It was only tiny, with small pressies, as all the big ones were delivered downstairs, but they were overwhelmed!
