I’m absolutely in love with the beautiful new Copper kitchen range from Wilko.

I never really understood the stand mixer thing – until I got one.

WHAT a revelation it was!

Of course I loved baking before, and of course my cakes were delicious before. But there’s something about the stand mixer – not only are your hands free to reach for a spatula/weigh the next ingredients/put the kettle on, but your cakes will be lighter, your meringue more dense, your cream more whipped.. it just helps. that’s all I’m saying. And the Wilko version comes complete with a large stainless steel mixing bowl plus an array of attachments including a dough hook for homemade breads and pastries, a beater for cake and cookie mixtures and a whisk to make the perfect meringue.
